Abstract This study aims to know the number and variation of plant species analyze potential for CO 2 absorption from each type in green lane. The focused lane is located on main arterial road with length 4.2 km, St. Urip Sumoharjo which known as longest most congested Makassar City. was carried out by surveying observation tree used image processing validate suspect through App. Meanwhile, calculation analyzed using per method multiplying between existing trees capacity species. As a result inventory, it found that there were thirty-eight (38) total 2,587 trees. dominant Bougainvillea glabra 693 (26.8%), Tabebuia chrysantha 339 (13.1%) median side. With trees, has absorb about 2,478,996 gr/hour. Additionally, Segment 5 6 have highest 1,278,274 gr/hour 786,879 respectively.
